AHEAD THE ACCIDENT
Satu Nenonen 8.-31.7.2011 Gallery Fafa
- Paintings from the flight
Being on succeed flight feels as being on holiday trip because of them both let you forget all troubles and distress, and let you feel yourself more relieved, relaxed and happier.
I have a propensity to escape to my studio at school where I don't need to be a mother, a wife, a daughter, a reformer, a friend, a buddy, an activist or nobody else either but then I'm not sure do I like to be an artist either...
The flight could be a pleasure, but I haven't ability to keep it up as a pleasure. Instead of that it's usual for me at foresee a approaching misfortune...
In this exhibition, which is also the first of mine, I have had an interest to handle about the insecurity which has been developing after long-terming fear. I believe this kind of fear arise from a permanent sense of aheading accident but certainly not based on the truth. Even if the fear isn't realistic it still has strong affects for the suffer. For example it can lame, makes wary, and at worst it can seriously depress. For hiding these atmospheres is man obliged to take the next flight to the nowhere and land to the absconding life without feelings, intuition or sensibility.
I was thinking could it be possible to land back to an unaffected home? If the calamity never really realise?
I'd like to dedicate these paintings to the all overpowered people who still are trying to seek the right keys for throwing away the shade of past -
and like to thank for my lovely inspiration causes, Sara & Valtteri, and dear stupendous father of them as well as Hannah, my studioroommate, about the support and patience.
